What is RSS?
RSS items are not downloaded items such as e-mails; as a result there is no storage overhead and no clutering involved.

RSS is a method used to keep you up–to–date with your favourite events without visiting the originating website to look for new contents.

As soon as new content is added to a website, RSS is updated and delivered to you automatically.

By using one of the ‘browsers’ or ‘readers’ listed below, RSS delivers to you a list of newly added items to the website. You may choose to view these items or may choose not to.

The most popular and widely available tools are as follows:
  • Browsers
    • Windows IE 7.0
    • FireFox
  • News Readers
    • Google
    • Yahoo
    • Windows Live
